Gabe's 8th Birthday!

I just realized since I haven't been blogging that I didn't even post Gabe's 8th birthday! Yikes! So here are some pix of the big birthday boy (2 months ago)! We had a family celebration on his birthday, but on the Saturday before we took him and some of his friends to Chuck E. Cheese and then had a sleep over. Chris had fun playing light sabers with them in the yard later too. They all had a great time!

New bike that may be a little too big still!

Light saber time! Kassie was chasing the boys down!

Weigh In

Here we go again. After gaining back all of my weight plus two extra pounds, I'm back at it. I've decided I can't keep going like this. I'm miserable being this heavy. This is the most I've ever weighed except for being pregnant. I'm only about 9 lbs. away from my weight when I came home from the hospital with Kassie, and she's four years old now. So I figure it's time I crack down and take this seriously. I know that the older I get, the harder it's going to be to lose the weight, so I better do it now. I've decided not to set any short or long term goals, other than my goal weight, and I'm not giving myself any incentives to look forward to. I've found that by setting the goals, if I don't meet it I get very frustrated. So I'm just going to go day by day and see where it gets me. Hopefully skinny. :) I can't afford to go to the meetings, so I'm doing it on my own. So wish me luck, pray for me and send me any ideas you may have for Weight Watchers! I've done it before, so I know I can do it again. Oh, I also did as the WW leader told me (I saw her in the store the other day). I bought a full length mirror last night. I've got it in my bathroom, so I walk by it every single time I go in there. I'm hoping that by actually seeing myself everyday now, not just my head, that it will help motivate me too. I think I'll attach a skinny picture of myself on there too, for a little added motivation.
