New me time!

Well, here we go again. I tried to get on the right track, but that stupid cold going around took me out. So now that it's almost gone & I'm feeling almost normal, Thanksgiving eating is over, I'm ready to get back on the horse. I weighed, measured, took "before" pix & worked out this morning. I'm ready to do it. I've gained all but 1/2 pound back of what I lost. Kind of pathetic isn't it? BUT, I'm gonna lose it! Gonna get healthy once & for all. Here we go...

STARTING OVER!!!!

OK, so I've said it before, but I'm DETERMINED to start fresh tomorrow morning. I have gained back almost all of the 48.2 pounds I lost. In 31 weeks I lost 48.2 pounds. I was so close to my goal. In 1 year and 8 months I have gained back 45.4 pounds. It's time to get serious and kick some butt again. My life has improved TREMENDOUSLY since I lost weight before. My marriage was on the rocks, then in one stupid move, I ended it. It took a year of us being apart for me to figure out what I lost. So, one year and 8 days later, we got back together. That was the best move I have ever made. I am more in love with Chris than ever. Our family is back together. We have learned a lot and have more to learn. But life is about going one day at a time. And the same goes for my weight loss. I've been kicking myself everyday that I have gained weight back. I'm trying, but not getting anywhere. But I know I will do it. I'm just really hoping I do it starting now!

OK, I'm heading out now so I can go motivate myself some more by watching Biggest Loser! My favorite show!!! Wish me luck!!!

Good loss!!!

Well, I had a loss this week. I'm quite happy! I walked last Sunday afternoon, worked out last night (4 mile WATP) & then today after work walked 3.8 miles. I'm a little sore, but it's a good sore. It felt so good to be back out there walking today. I'm really looking forward to the warm weather so I can make this a regular habit again. Let's see if I can break my cycle of gain, loss, gain, loss this next week.

Trying again...

Well, I tried in November to get back on track. It didn't work too well. So now I'm trying again. I will continue to try until I get it right. I'm up over 20 lbs. still & way out of shape! The out of shape part is bothering me more than the weight part I think. My muscle tone is gone. I'm starting, well, I am, flabby again. My clothes are tight, I've gone up a size & refuse to go up any more sizes! I worked too hard before to lose the weight, only to gain all of it back. I'm still down over 25 lbs. total from the start of my weight loss journey. So it's not a total failure. Just a temporary set back. But I plan to conquer it!!! I just have to get back into those good eating & working out habits again. Wish me luck!

Oh, and I just got done with a 4 mile workout. So I think that's a pretty good start after working all day too!
